This reminds me....every member of this list owes it to him/herself to take
a listen to stuff by Liquid Liquid. They are from the early 80's but they
sound more revalent than ever nowadays. Very percussion-oritened, pretty
amazing stuff. There is a comp. of their stuff out on Grand Royal. The
reason I'm replying to this thread is the old rap song "White Lines" is a
ripoff of the Liquid Liquid track "Cavern", which brought it to my mind
because I don't remember anyone posting about them recently....
