i'll second that, very nice stuff. is the album out on cd yet?

i picked it up yesterday. most of the artists contribute tracks that are slightly more busy and technoey/groove-oriented than some of their recent output, but it's still very nice stuff. i'm not hugely into the exos/auftrieb/heckmann/sri tracks, which border on straight-ahead techno/noisy german stuff, but the others are quite nice-- lots of nice melodic elements combined with strong rhythmic programming and weird dsp stuff going on overtop. highlights for me are vladislav delay's track (which is both glitchy and seriously funky), auch's track (which is gorgeous), twerk's track (which reminds me of adam beyer's haunting melodic stuff combined with heavy dsp elements, kind of like his "neurotika" track), and jasper and kit clayton's track (which is pretty busy but deep). again, more straight-ahead techno/tech-house sounding and dancefloor-friendly than some of the recent force-inc kru output, but i'm not complaining. glyn --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
