Yeah randomness, that makes the tune doesn't it <sarcasm>. If you listen and dig thru a lot of old jungle you will find a lot of pretty awesome tracks with crazy programming. And there are many tunes that are fucked up and unmixable. Speaking of being "random", you totally gave me a flashback to a conversation I had with someone a while back. This guy was talking about how IDM seems to "try to be random for the sake of it", often to the point where its no longer interesting. That's not usually my first prerequisite when buy records, it's more about melodies usually Jumping the bandwagon kicks ass!
