What formula does either one use?
Autechre's track on Artificial Intelligence II sounds like it's solely
synths and an 808... nowadays they're purely code based, it seems,
generating tracks from an intense interest in maths (if they're being
honest in interviews). What's the similarity? Actually, forget similarity,
you said formula. What common formula are they applying throughout
everything they've done?

Come on Gilly, everyone knows you've got a one track mind... :-) To my ears
Atom Heart has as much of a definite formula as Autechre or AFX. That
probably means not much, but it's still standard to be able to spot an Atom
Heart track a mile away, whatever games he's up to.

np. 'Clicks and Cuts' .. haven't listened to this in ages. Some of it's
pretty nice. Particularly that Sutekh mix of whatshisname...
