Don't recall seeing them mentioned so far, but the "Drum and Bass"
compilation series on Breakdown Records (esp. the first 2) and the
Jungle Tekno series on Jumpin' and Pumpin" could be of interest. If you
want something on the atmospheric tip, try the "Artcore" series on
React. Some of the other comps mentioned so far were sign posts for my
initial exploration of jungle/drum and bass 20 years ago.
