Indeed, and "Trance" was at the time being heavily used as a marketing buzzword
to describe anything electronic, as I remember "techno" had become somewhat
sullened by "rave" music. Ahhhh the good ole days...
I also distinctly remember the U-Turn NME took when it realised all this techno
lark wasn't going away and ceased slagging it off and started giving it more
and more serious consideration in their rag, quite funny on the face of it
now....
