Ok, flag genre stuff, but I can't think of a better subject line.
I like things on labels like 2000 Black and Exceptional Records - people
like Kirk De Giorgio in less techno mode, Dego's stuff etc. I think "nu
jazz" is what I've heard this stuff described as, even though it seems more
about funk and disco than anything particularly "jazz" to me...
Anyway, I just wanna know if anyone can recommend some releases in this
vein and/or tell me where to look to find recommends (mailing lists?).
