get Stephen Powers'(aka Espo) "The Art of Getting Over." There's a pretty
nice selection of artists complete with stories and commentary. he talks
about the early scene in Philly (with Cornbread, etc.), Sane & Smith in NY,
the FX Crew, and more.
also: Upski's first book, "Bomb the Suburbs," is a classic. It's not a graf
book per se; there's everything from race theory, music, hitch-hiking
memories, and a ?funny/disturbing? essay "In the Defense of Wiggers."
Enjoy!
ps: I am assuming you know about artcrimes.com and 12ozprophet.com? both are
great.
