Speaking of powering IDM performances, has anyone looked into the ADGEX Tachyon charger (for charging the iPhone / Laptops really quickly), or perhaps the Helium Super-Capacitor Speaker system (something like 5+ hours of hi-quality sound, chargeable by a super-capacitor), or the forthcoming Steorn Orbo charger devices?
What's your favourite device(s) for keeping your live performances off-the-grid and self-powered? I did see Clint performing with a OLPC crank laptop but he had no sound out working so it was pretty silent.
