Anyone else as disappointed as I am with the new Photek full-length?
Seems as if he mostly replaced his signature drum'n'bass sound with
somewhat lame House. I can understand the desire to move on, but this
seems like a step backwards. Maybe I don't "get it". Care to explain?
Actually I might have liked it better if the atmosphere were a little
murky...sounds too crisp somehow. Compare/contrast with the recent Jeff
Mills 2x12" "Every Dog Has Its Day" for a demonstration.
