Always get your tickets early, but if that doesn't work and you
really want to see someone, show up at the door anyway, and beg, plead,
and drop as many names as you can with a straight face. I.e. "I'm meeting
Madonna here" would be ineffective but "Bebel Gilberto said to meet her here"
might work...
'sold out' is a pretty stretchy concept. And don't
get salty with the door guy -- stay pleasant, and don't waste their time.
I bet you $5 you could have gotten in ;-)
