People like to be able to dial-up sounds on-demand... for example: "I need a [insert adjectives] type bass sound..." ... a flip through the 128 megs of loaded sounds might give the person a start for constructing said sound. I certainly haven't and i've never known anyone who has needed more even if they have 2 or 3 samplers running with 20 outputs. Why do people need the 128MB + sample RAM they have on all the new EMU's and AKAIs? <snip> --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
