whoa, kind of overwhelming, didn't expect that level of blanketting of that
many people into the "shithead" catagory. but these are friends, including
seth (my roommate)...i know these people are all really busy, especially
when they're playing a show are not really able to hang out with people
that come, and it's unfortunate. and if this is the feeling you get at the
shows it really upsets me. i'm usually too busy running around to talk to
anyone and we get nervous before playing and then afterward all self
conscious....i love playing music, but i'm no good at the other stuff. i
hope that's not being confused with pretentious assholeness, i listen to
the music first, i know a bunch of unpleasant musicians who have a lot to
say and a lot to offer and deal with they're social dysfunction by
expressing it through music, i'm very interested in what they have to say,
even if they can't communicate to me otherwise. we are not claiming to be
the open arms of electronic music but we are all are just people going
through life and trying our hardest to make the best of it, and if it
doesn't fit in with what you want and need right now, i'm sorry...but if
you want to hear the music, please come to the show and maybe we can break
through some of this shit. i don't know. if you care enough to say this
perhaps you can help change it and make it more your own some how, if you
have positive ideas let me know. i'm not gonna write to the list anymore it
just gets worse.
