Hello.
Well, Radiohead's "Kid A" is without doubt the best electronica album
of the year. If you're a fan of the likes of Autechre, Plaid and CiM,
you're going to love this baby.
Should be very interesting seeing how the mainstream listeners, many
of whom are probably expecting another "OK Computer", are going to
react to this one. Watch out for the mainstream press too -- half of
them are going to trash it, the rest will be praising this
"revolutionary new type of music that no-one else has had the guts to
produce!"
Chortle. Still, if it all means that a few kids decide to check out
some electronica after hearing "Kid A", then that can only be a good
thing.
