yes, and its interesting to note that as one becomes more and more adept at writing/arraging/composing music on paper WITHOUT a piano,
one will find that its *much* easier this way. I rephrase, it is much easier, and faster. Beethoven wrote almost all of his symphonies without the aid of hearing a single note, (he was 100% deaf by the 2nd or 3rd I think it was). this is perhaps somewhat analagous with step-time sequencing. (how thinking it out first can yield better results in theory)(theory - no pun intended)
