this may not really be quite pertinent, but I'd like to remind
everyone that Mozart died cause he was a massive alcoholic... if
that wasnt his cause of death, I can at least tell you for a
fact that he drank a WHOLE LOT. so did Beethoven.....
Look what drugs have done for music, and appreciate it. This is
*not* to say illicit substances and/or alcohol are a necessary
part of creating compelling, original art, but one cannot deny
their influence thereupon....
