I bought that album not long ago (you?ve probably had it for ages...) and I must say I was disappointed. Not that I liked his earlier albums (boring "intelligent techno") but the reviews of a shocking hobby made it seem like something else. The good tracks in my opinion is those when he sounds like most autechre-ish like Balk acid...It?s not a completely bad album but I guess I?d set my expectations too high. -----Original Message----- From : Andy Mucho <andy@software-superstars.com> To : idm@hyperreal.org Date : 12 September 2000 16:05:29 Subject : RE: [idm] now playing, Speedy J - A Shocking Hobby
