i must recommend the "new" tv victor album (tresor 151). three tracks on 2 CDs. the track from 1999, "agai", is 71 minutes long. a minimalistic masterpiece in the vein of bc/pole/rhythm & sound, etc. the two other tracks are from 1993, "all" (55 minutes) is rather a let down. gets boring rather quickly and sounds dated. last track "you" (10 minutes) is a very good ambient tune. so, does anyone know who tv victor are? udo heitfield seems to be one member, moritz von oswald is mentioned as masterer and co-producer... tresor 149 is also good, it's a re-release from 1992 of blake baxter's dream sequence. if you liked the warp 10 classics compilation, you'll probably like this. hmm, moritz von oswald crops up on this record, too... speaking of warp, a sample of red snapper's "Our Aim Is to Satisfy Red Snapper" sounds VERY promising. hs _____________________________________________ everything is fiction, all cynic to the bone. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
