not related to anything,but,last night i was watching a blacksploitation
film called HELL IN HARLEM or HARLEM IN HELL ,scored by Edwin Starr. In the
first scene,(woman brutalized in cab) a version of Steve Reich's' 'Pendulum
Music' was used (Sonic youth recreated this for 'goodbye 20th
century').Later in the film is the conga piece sampled by Air for the intro
of the first track in 'sexy boy' album(can't remember real title).that's
all. d
