I know it won't help you much but I have to say that I love them. I have almost all older Scorn stuff except for a couple of recent releases and all of them appeal to me much. Unfortunately I cannot review them for ya as these are all traditional releases by him but it depends on the year it came out. Gyral was made right after Bullen left Harris alone in the project which made good for it as far as I'm concerned. The album is strictly minimal industrial dub in its best. Colossus and White Irises Blind are separate releases. Collosus, White Irises Blind and Deliverance are from Bullen era and feature vocals and such. The one have to keep in mind that in years Scorn grew more ambient and minimal as opposed to their first releases like Vae Solis and Lick Forever Dog released on Earache (famous grind, doom, industrial label) home of the notorious Napalm Death, which for some time hosted MJ Harris in its rooster which tells a lot about his musical tastes at the time. Currently he makes absolutely different stuff in projects like Quad or Lull, though still continuing to elaborate Scorn evolution. In brief, if you are a fan of MJ Harris or Scorn buy those.
