just my opinion...re-birth is cool for techno, but for IDM i'm not
sure...maybe for some of the sounds, but the grid sequencer (808, 909)is
more geared for 4/4 type stuff...i could be wrong though...also if you
already have a computer why not use cubase or cakewalk to sequence? the
potential for more intricate rythmn programming is far greater than with a
drum machine.
