i'll wager it's a reference to vibert's overuse of the amen breakbeat,
which he overused almost to the point of embarrassment on the Plug series
unfortunately for mr. 606, that was before a million other junglist
wankers overcooked that beat until it took on more of a cliche then the
fucking 'funky drummer' break, so his "creative" re-hashing of the same
goddamned beat leaves me colder than payne stewart at 35,000 ft
he's a clever programmer and producer, Kid606 is. he just needs to vary
his sonic pallette into slightly less trodden regions...
i think tom jenkinson should be the only human allowed near Amen for the
next ten years
