They're not exactly overly enthralling...
I read this list SPECIFICALLY for the off-chance of a tradelist, it's the
best way to get new stuff.
As for self promotion, sometimes I'll care, and I have found some new and
interesting stuff because of it, and if I don't care, I'll just skip over
it.
