You can get some nifty sounds out of it.. Of course, you'll probably think
it's crap when you first turn it on and play it.. You'll be like "what the
fuck are all these crappy ass electric pianos and bell sounds???". or maybe
not. it's a GREAT instrument, but not one I suggest starting out on. And..
Are you planning on making multiple parts? Or playing keys in a band? It's
based on yamaha's Frequency Modulation synthesis, which is a bit confusing
with it's operators and carriers and modulators.. Easy conceptually.. But
harder to get the sounds you want. Need more info if i was to make a
decision on whether or not this is the right synth for you...
