i remember when it came out and a lot of Autechre fans just sat there with
bewildered looks on their faces. then of course they all said "this cd
sucks" and whatnot. i didnt think it was that great at first either, but
being an autechre fan i did listen to it a few more times and little things
started showing up. it definately goes over yr head the first time you hear
it though. just goes to show you how far ahead of IDM and music in general
they are. songs like "squeller" and "zeiss contarex" have just begun to
show themselves. i still don't get "outpt" though...
