Luke Vibert, for one, has. His forthcoming album
on Astralwerks, _Stop The Panic_, is a collab. with
pedal-steel guitarist BJ Cole. Matmos seem comfortable
with guitarists, too, as their excellent _The West_
EP (mini-LP?) proves. Jeremy Boyle's recent album on
Southern shows that interesting things can be done
with guitars in an IDM-ish context. I'm sure there
are more examples, but I've got work to do.
