ooh, i have a question i forgot to ask. one of the things that amazed me
most about the show was that nobody used headphones. kid koala would grab
for his vinyl, throw it down, and then take about half a second to drop
the needle exactly where he wanted it. HOW DOES HE KNOW WHERE TO DROP THE
NEEDLE?!?! is it marked with some special dj tape or something? i'm
totally at a loss - i can't imagine he can find the exact groove he wants
in an almost negligible amount of time. or does he just drop it wherever
and improvise with whatever comes up? but that wouldn't really make sense
either, i don't think, if he's recreating specific tracks. somebody help.
