Very cool show in San Francisco tonight-
Lesser
H2SO4 (Loren Chasse and Jim Haynes)
at FOURWALLS gallery on Valencia just above the Kilowatt (entrance in the
alley to the right)
8 pm $3.00
This is the kickoff of what promises to be a great series of new music
shows. Lesser you should be famililar with by now- not sure what he'll do
tonight but he's always good for headscratching confusion. Loren Chasse is
a member of Id Battery, who've done great field recording/drone based work
on many different labels (Ecstatic Peace, Unique Ancient Tavern, etc.) and
Jim Haynes is an SF artist who specializes in recordings of extremely quiet
sounds (ie. chemicals rusting pieces of iron). This is their debut show
together and it should be great so please come on down if you're in the Bay
Area.
