BlueCube is a progression from kim's earlier releases but
still has a lot of similarities. Kim compares it to his PGR
material and i would say if you mixed some Hecker tracks
in with his PGR stuff then he's quite right!
Deep ambient textures mixed with 100% digital pulses,
drones, spacey noises, chirps, etc in unpredictable yet
captivating arrangements. Great stuff...
Kim describes BlueCube as:
"this project started as the result of an article/music I wrote
for a book coming out on MIT Press about Csound (a Music
N sound synthesis language)... the CD could be best described
as atmospheric computer music and happens to be more in the
style of my work with PGR..."
