really, if i had to recommend anything from v/vm, it would be the machine
series they put out.. though i think in this case it was more of a v/vm
"label" release, it is VERY VERY well done.. if you like ambient
drone/noise/loops/machines/crunchies..
v/vm, really, have the best sense of humour i have seen come out of the
all-too-serious idm world .. and thats not to say that serious idm is not
my thing.. or that v/vm are idm really :)
i dont know.. the element of suprise, the goofy sound sources, the audio
terrorism (much in the way of evolution control committee, negativland, et
al) is rather fun.
most of the time i have to be in the right mood, but really, at least its
fun, ya know?
but then again, i collect thrifty store records like mad and lovethe whole
diy thing.. so...
