i've found their employees to be friendly AND helpful, in-store. like
taking the time to find things that were misfiled, informing me that there
was a cheaper copy of something in the used section, repeatedly telling me
that the CD they were playing was chessie (hey, it sounded different every 5
minutes, ok?).

i've beaten it at aron's in LA, and i've heard that amoeba in SF kicks the
high holy crap out of everything. but it is good.
* does anyone notice that mr. e bears an _astonishing_ resemblance to gil
gershman? right down to the rank, vicious denouncements (see the bit about
john c of bent crayon above), ripping people off (on ebay at least) and
general bitchiness? is it just a coincidence that this person bears such a
resemblance to mr. gershman and has appeared since gil's hilarious
fulmination and obnoxious exit from this list a while back? and that this
is seemingly the only list on the net that his usual address doesn't appear
on?
personally, i don't care. but i do find it really, really pathetic and
amusing. much like his reviews.
