I believe this is a woman. I've got the album "Glub Guerilla" (Shadow
Records, 1997), it has a woman's face on the cover. The booklet says
"produced and mixed by Shantel", but one of the tracks has vocals by Andrea
Palladio and it is a female voice. So if Shantel is Andrea Palladio, Shantel
is a woman :)
