Why does it seem these days that putting out a record on Rephlex is more
about exposing your bottom out the window while you friend drives by a
movie line, than actually putting out deeply thought-out electronic
music? I mean, I dig this new Bodenstandig 2000 record... especially the
track "Udo5," but it seems a bit, err... naff as far as longevity and
musicality go....
BTW: Any connection between Bodenstandig and the Fantastische Vier? They
seem to be just as goofy.... lyrically at least....
