To the original poster - how to destroy angels might be the best bet, but BLD is, I think, a far superior record. One of coil's best.

If Time Machines and Worship the Glitch were your thing, you need this record more than you have ever needed a record before in your life. Or at least as much. Stars of the Lid got mentioned on here recently too - that's another absolutely fantastic collection of drony records - undoubtedly the only band I've encountered who do something so forcefully brilliant within the guitar drone area (all the lps are pretty much the same; I'd get "the ballasted orchestra" or the Labradford remix if I had to pick but I have not heard avec laudanum). --- the humble abbott arthur purvis set his hand hereto
