This is not a personal flame..just some thoughts on selling items....all IMO If someone sent a late-payment check to a seller, _at the very least_ the seller should tell the buyer "I'm not selling you the item because you sent payment too late and I'm tearing up your check" 3 weeks is not an outrageous amount of time. A good seller would return the check to the buyer if he/she is not going to sell them an item the buyer sent payment for, even if the payment was sent 3 weeks after an agreement was made. It is not very nice practice to have a check you sent someone floating out there never having been cashed, never receiving an item, and never hearing from the seller.
