I picked this one up a few weeks ago. this one is a four tracker of spacey electronica/ post-rock dwelling somewhere between Mouse on Mars, Lithops, Labradford, Bergheim 34 and a Pan Am. It was enjoyable for the few times i listened but i havent had the urge to listen to it lately if that says anything...

Yes Perlon is an excellent label for those who enjoy abstract punchy tech-house in the vein of herbert, playhouse, etc. The dimbiman 12"s are my favorites on the label. Discography: . Markus Nikolai: Rood 12" (Perlon 01) . Dimbiman: Good Morning Eyeball 12" (Perlon 02) . Hombre Ojo: Manejando Un Carrito 12" (Perlon 03) . Narcotic Syntax: Ultravolta 12" (Perlon 04) . Markus Nikolai: Work Out 12" (Perlon 05) . Dimbiman: Koppchen 12" (Perlon 06) . Ricardo Villalobos: Fussmilch 12" (Perlon 07) . Frank Mueller vs Ricardo Villalobos: Melodrama 12" (Perlon 08) . Pile: Perlipop 12" (Perlon 09) . Superlongevity comp 2x12" (Perlon 10) Official Perlon website at: http://www.mad-net.de/perlon/perlon.html But not much there aside from flashy animations and e-mail links...

I agree with Phil. The new clayton ep, called 'The Angular Adventures of Kit Clayton in the Land of Sound & Shape,' is a solid piece of abstract deep-techo/tech-house very much in the style of his Cytrax releases. Speaking of Cytrax, the Detention ep, by Clayton & DJ Jasper is also well worth having. Kit can do little wrong in my book and i'm especially excited for The Mimic & the Model #2 which should be out soon. -->-Lance--- mclance@nacs.net lance@inaudible.com p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states
