First, this is completely unacceptable.
Second, here's the situation. You asked if anyone wanted some CDs *FOR
FREE*. I said yes, and suggested I could give you a mix CD of mine as
a way of saying "thank you". I got the CDs and said thanks, but
haven't had a chance to mail you a mix CD yet, nor the tape I also
later said I'd give you (again, a favor, not part of any deal we
struck).
To take this to a public forum is childish. I apologize for not doing
the favor I'd said I would do, but understand that I am extremely busy
at work, am in the middle of moving, and am generally busy elsewhere.
I'll get you the CDs, but I request that you do the right thing and
own up to the specifics of the situation. I don't need my name
slandered over a favor I was trying to do.
