Previously... "Somehow, (and I'm not knocking AFX) I became drained by the music. I dunno, it's difficult to express exactly how I was feeling at the time, but it was kind of frustrated...I couldn't get my mind to focus properly. What I needed was some SOUL." i think i know this feeling. But i have always attributed it to the difficulty of the music. I find things like AFX and the like to be a challenging listen (at least parts of it), which you can't just grasp the whole meaning of by drifting away into the soft melodies and whimsical lyrics. even if its some good guitar rock, it still holds that structure, its not challenging your ears and internal audio processors the same way idm does. but its for the same reasons that i'm growing to love so much idm as much as i do, but at the same time i'm understanding how much i can't let go of everything else...if only for my sanity. k --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
