i think metallica's action are totally justified. my problem is that the
various parties suing napster are all morons. did anyone link to the
newspaper article off nofuncharlie? metallica is also suing universities for
condoning napster, and lars ulrich called these universities "hypocrites." i
fail to see the hypocrisy here.
also, a group of record companies is suing napster, seeking $100,000 per
song traded on napster. napster does not reap any profit. they do not even
have advertisers yet.
