My comment on this: went to an Aphex live performance in Leeds about a
couple of years ago, and next to the mixing desk there was a DAT machine
with a timer ticking up. 3 explanations:
1)This was a bomb ticking to doom
2)It was recording the gig
3)It was playing back the gig
Make ya choice. Of course, it was a great gig, and highly irrelevant
whether it was pre-recorded or not. I prefer to think it was just Aphex
playing back pre-recorded tracks from Pro-Tools.
