I would agree with most of what is being said about women not being as
inthralled by idm as men. But I think in Detroit it is a little different.
I have met quite a lot of super cool girls who know what to give props to
and what sucks, and a few know a hell of lot more than i do. On the norm
though, I would have to agree - most women would rather listen to moby while
exercising than sit down, pack a chalace, and spend three hours in an
innebriated meditation. As for Aphex Twin, most people, whether it be
girls, football players, parents, granmothers, kids - they are all
immediately offended by his music and then when they see him they just think
the world is coming to an end. Well, as Kid 606 put it, "electronic music
is the sound of a bleek tomorrow."
