I've actually gotta step in in full agreement of
this.
With regards what's happened to him, I think he's
done some fantastic production and remixing work
in recent years. I love those James albums, and
his remix of Depeche Mode's 'I Feel You' rates
pretty highly with me. Even the tracks he did on
Slowdive's 'Souvlaki'. Mmmm... Lots of lovely
melancholy moments.
As to whether his solo releases are anything to
talk about... well, I know I don't care. :-)
