I think it'd take a bit of a redefinition of IDM
to find some strongly melodic tracks. :)
If you mean pleasant, (largely) tonal and
developing riffs and harmonies, I'd heartily
recommend Sun Electric's two most recent full
lengths, 'Present' and 'Via Nostra', particularly
the former.
