Jockey Slut realised that its readership was growing a few years back
and as soon as that happens you become scared to cover things that
are not going to be appreciated by the "majority", it is completely a
question of money. By its very nature (glossy, colour, mainstream),
it cannot afford to do anything else. As my mate said the other day
while flicking through its pages, "I'm over this now".
Mixmag, Jockey Slut, ... same thing.
