I have to admit that Consumed has grown on me, but if you think it goes a bit too far (and have a yen for earlier Plastikman), Artifakts (bc) will really take your breath away. As Richie explains in the liner notes, Artifakts includes tracks he recorded during 1995-96 (the "bc" stands for "before Consumed"), while trapped in the frozen north of Canada -- well, okay, just across the river from Detroit. I shouldn't commit myself too far, since I've given it only one and a half listens, but this *may* be my favorite Plastikman yet, a great balance between Muzik and the BC-inspired stuff on Consumed. .John.
