yeah, this isn't quite correct. it is in fact mr. james' singing. the
story goes that his friend bet him that he couldn't write a pop song, so he
wrote "milkman," which was meant to be a sing-songy tune, to closer
approximate pop music.
of course, this is out of richard's mouth, so it's probably all lies anyway...
