?!?!??! Just-Ice gets a mention on IDM!!! Surely the final days are coming =) When did this album come out? I must must must buy inmediatemente... Yeah Just-Ice also worked with BDP on another release of his from 1987, the name escapes me right now but it includes the track "Going Way Back"... all this was around 86-88, when hip-hop was finally breaking out of NYC and hitting nationwide. A lot of rappers tried to claim they were this and that, "but they're all just wick-wick wack" in the immortal words of KRS-One. MC Shan claimed hip-hop started at Queensbridge, prompting KRS-One to reply "The Bridge Is Over". Just-Ice and KRS were of the Bronx, and made sure the real story was told. These days with what the new jacks in the rave scene think about the history of the music and the parties, that they need the same kind of "education" =) ______________________________ Reply Separator _________________________________ Subject: Re: (idm) mantronix ?
