Actually this one is a re-release of phthalo's first record on plug research originally releaesed back in 1996. So that is why the style is a little different than that heard on his more recent releases like the Navy Warships cd or The Logan ep. In my opinion, The Viridian ep sounds a lot like modern day Autechre but done almost two years ago! It shows you how long Phthalo has been doing good stuff.
