Ryoji Ikeda is indeed massive. Tujiko Noriko makes really nice electronic music with her own vocals. Ranges from poppy to abstract. http://www.discogs.com/artist/10122-Tujiko-Noriko Not IDM at all really but great stuff for adventurous listeners is "onkyo", the loose collective of improving Japanese musicians that generally work in quieter forms of free improv. *Toshimaru Nakamura* being my personal favorite of the bunch. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Onkyokei On Tue, Mar 11, 2014 at 4:11 PM, Alex Halstead <alex.v.halstead@gmail.com>wrote:
