Its a form of Beat heavy electro/house music heavily laden with
pornographic lyrics and samples. My simple mind understands analogies so
the way Ive figured it is:
"AphexTwin" is "IDM" as "2liveCrew" is to "Booty-house"
The bits ive managed to hear had a definite Florida-electro feel with
Miami Bass mixed in. The important thing in this subgenre are relentless
beats to keep the anatomy you are describing moving as long as possible
:) Im told that half of the appeal is the effect the explicit lyrics
have on the *close* physical contact folx have on the dancefloor, so
security is pretty beefy to quelch the invevitable fights. Not my cup of
tea but some of the locals are really into it.
